 Bowhunters of Wyoming

Purpose: To promote the enjoyment and betterment of the sport of bowhunting.

Established in 1974, Bowhunters of Wyoming is a non-profit organization made up of sportsmen and women that choose to elevate the standards of bowhunting.



WHO ARE WE?

BOW's purpose is to promote the enjoyment and betterment of the sport of bowhunting. 

BOW speaks to the State Legislature and Wyoming Game and Fish Department on behalf of all bowhunters. BOW has successfully advocated for longer archery seasons, type 9 licenses, and earlier antelope season dates.  Read more

WHO CAN JOIN?

BOW membership is offered in three levels: individual, family, or affiliate club.  Join today

Membership shall be granted to a bowhunter who follows, in the strictest sense, the Bowhunters Code of Ethics and is of good moral character; follows the Rules of Fair Chase, knows and respects the animals hunted, and follows the laws and behaves in a way that brings no discredit upon himself/herself or this organization; and hunts with only a bow that is hand held and hand drawn during the archery season.

BOW is organized and managed by a 13-person Executive Council, consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Past President, Newsletter Editor, and seven Area Representatives.  Contact a BOW Executive Council member

Additionally, BOW has a number of committees which help to organize awards, education, legislative action, conventions, membership, and more.
